I like the fact that your lines draw attention to all the hard work that goes into being able to start the race at all-- great 26 words and sweet picture.
ReplyDeleteSince my first marathon, finishing has become all about getting Fig Newtons and then trying to choke them down (they are awfully dry). Not sure why but tradition holds.
